End Point Assessment: EPA
EPA is the final stage of an apprenticeship in which the apprentice completes a variety of assessments. Partner with us as your trusted, reliable guide through this all-important apprenticeship EPA process.
We will ensure that you select an appropriate EPAO End Point Assessment Organisation who will support the employer and apprentice through the EPA process. Choosing an EPAO before, or early into the apprenticeship, ensures that employer, apprentice and training provider share a full understanding of the assessment process from the outset.
Assessment methods, ensure that apprentices demonstrate their occupational competence. Passing EPA enables the apprentice to achieve professional fire safety recognition.
An Ofqual recognised independent organisation conducts EPA, entirely separately to the training provider or employer to ensure impartiality. For more details about available EPAO for fire safety apprenticeships see.
Industry qualified assessors with recent occupational experience conduct the process.
The employer is responsibile for choosing this independent organisation either directly or in conjunction with the training provider. This must be undertaken, a minimum of three months before assessment.
