To provide delegates with a knowledge of Building Bulleting 100: Design for fire safety in schools.

Delegates apply the standard using a number of exercises so they can assess a school for compliance with BB 100.

  • Compartmentation
  • Places of special fire hazard
  • Application of Fire Risk Analysis Tool
  • Sprinkler protection

Assessment

Assessment of course work is assessment criteria from National Occupational Standards.


Qualifications and NOS

This course include assessment criteria for National Occupational Standards FS2, FS3, FS7 and FS9 of Level 4 Certificate/Diploma qualifications in Fire Safety
