Vacancies: Apprenticeship Mentor

We are a specialist fire safety training company looking for an experienced individual to join our our apprenticeship team, delivering mentor support on a one to one basis as well as introductory and professional development modules across both Level 3 and 4 of our fire safety apprenticeship programmes.

Ideal candidate for this position is an independent thinker, who is reliable, has experience working in adult learning and is committed, can demonstrate good IT skills and has experience and confidence with delivering learning remotely.

Main Duties

  1. Deliver Introduction Modules and Professional development modules to all apprentices.

  2. Provide coaching, tutoring and mentoring support in Fire Safety on a one to one, using the Xact iVC (interactive virtual classroom).

  3. Develop tailored training/workshops and adopt a more personalised approach for individuals requiring learning support.
  4. Identify learners' strengths and weaknesses through analysing initial assessments of prior learning and create the training plan accordingly.

  5. Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their learning goals/targets.

  6. Ensure each learners' progression is recorded and monitored efficiently.

  7. Support learners to collate and prepare for End Point Assessment.

  8. Plan and lead the standardisation programme for all Xact mentors.

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 09.00-17.00: 35 Hours Per Week

Pay:

£38 - 40k dependant on experience.
